The Unadilla Valley Railroad was a short line railroad that linked the New York, Ontario & Western at New Berlin, NY with the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western at Bridgewater, NY and provided passenger and freight service for businesses in the Unadilla Valley. In the early 1940's, the railroad purchased the New Berlin Branch of the O&W, expanding its operation south to New Berlin Junction (and exchange with the O&W at Sidney) and east to Edmeston. Started in 1892, the line was finally abandoned in 1960.
