Certificate Vignette CCS designed, developed, manufactureed, marketed and sold a broad line of implantable cardiac pacemakers, implantable pacemaker leads, and related products. The company also manufactured the first single lead for A-V synchronous pacing, which replaced the conventional two lead system for a substantial portion of the market. It had been proven to significantly enhance patient care, and provided for faster, easier and more cost effective implantation. In 1996, the worldwide market for pacemakers was estimated at $2 billion.
