Beautifully engraved certificate from the Oriental Gold Mining Company issued in 1881. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a miner leaning on his pick with attractive mountainous scene behind. Brown border with woman vignette at right edge. This item is hand signed by the Company's President ( A. D. Breed) and Secretary ( D. F. Verdenal ) and is over 131 years old. "Location of mine, Gold Mountain District, Esmeralda Co, Nevada." printed at bottom of the certificate. VF.
