Beautiful disbursement certificate from the Treasurer of the State of Pennsylvania issued no later than 1866. This historic document has an ornate border around it with vignettes of a teacher and student, native american and teacher with students flanked by state shield, and Lady Liberty. This was a check written from the state to fund the local school district. This check is over 153 years old.
