26 page booklet from the Confederate States of America dated April 2, 1863. This historic document is stamped "Record Division, War Department: Rebel Archives". This item is over 147 years old. This document discusses a proposal on Finance to the bill (H.R. 18) to lay out taxes fo a common defense, and to carry the Government og the Confederate States. There were only 200 hundred copies of this book printed, but who knows how many survived over the years.
