Beautifully engraved certificate from the Harris Safety Company issued in 1902. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle with its wings spread out with a domed building in the background. This item is hand signed by the company's president and treasurer and is over 99 years old. Harris was located in New York City. They made the first mechanical drawing of a fire engine in the United States, a model which was built and sold by Harris.
