Beautifully engraved uncancelled stock certificate from the Aurora Consolidated Mining Company issued in 1902. This historic document was printed by the New York Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette at center of allegorical woman's head, with a cherub at right end of masthead. This item is hand signed by the Company's Vice President, Chas. H. Lauders and Treasurer and is over 116 years old.

The Aurora Consolidated Mines Co. property was located in Aurora, Mineral County, Nevada. The Aurora Consolidated Mining Co. had 52 patented claims and a 500-ton mill. Operations on this company's property were discontinued in Oct, 1918, after further development work had failed to expose pay ore in either the Juniata or Silver Lining claims. Its machinery and equipment has since been dismantled. To liquidate its indebtedness to the extent of $110,237, the Aurora Consolidated Mines Company has transferred to the Goldfield Consolidated Mines Co. all its assets consisting of mine property, equipment. cash and accounts receivable.
