Beautifully engraved certificate from the Midland Pennsylvania Railroad Company issued in 1910. This historic document was printed by Security Bank Note Company and has an ornate border around it with the company's name on top center. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, Walter E. Harrington and Secretary, John H. Williams and is over 95 years old. The company went into business to construct a line from Millersburg to Ashland, Pennsylvania for a total of 44 miles.
