Beautiful certificate from the American Automobile Manufacturing Company issued in 1910. This historic document was printed by the Burford Lithograph Company and has border around it of early cars with a vignette of an American Automobile Motor Car with a manufacturing plant in the background. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, B. M. Bale and Secretary, H. K. Cole and is over 113 years old. This is the second time we have had this certificate for sale and believe it to be quite scarce.

The American Motor Car was made by the American Automobile Manufacturing Co, New Albany, Indiana from 1911 to 1912. It had a two-stroke engine and was made from 1911 to 1912. After that, there is no record of passenger cars made by the company, though it made trucks into 1913. It absorbed Jonz Auto Co of Beatrice, Nebraska in 1910 and was later connected with the Ohio Falls Motor Co.
