Beautiful certificate from the Empire Mint Mining Company. This historic document was printed by the W. H. Kistler Stationary Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle. This item has the hand signatures of the Company's President, and Secretary, and is over 101 years old.

Certificate Vignette
The Empire Mint Mining Company, owned and operated the Mint mine, at Empire, Clear Creek county, Colorado, and in 1907 received returns on a shipment of twenty-one tons of ore, which gave concentrates $670.00, gold from mint $510, and smelter $1,030, being a total of $2,918.00 net. Ten cars of ore were on the road to smelter. Mining Engineer J. R. Smith, in his report, estimated $100,000 worth of ore in sight, which he claimsed to be conservative, on account of increased values as development progresses. The officers and directors of the company were: J. C. Tirney, president; Frank Straub, vice-president; W. A. Miller, treasurer; W. R. Benzie, secretary ; M. E. Ronthworth, director.
