Beautifully engraved cancelled Certificate from the Farmers Union of San Jose, California issued in 1875 - 1890. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignettes of a woman picking grapes, and a farming / cattle scene with a train in the background. This item is hand signed by the company's President and Secretary and is over 116 years old. The document shows some foxing and was printed by Bacon & Company Printers of San Franciso.
