Beautifully engraved certificate from the Geographic Educator Corporation issued
in 1927. This historic document has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of three allegorical men. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President and Secretary and is
over 75 years old.
The Geographic Educator made a 6-Inch Puzzle Globe and was promoted by the company as "The Invention of the Century" and "The World in Pieces."
Geographic Educator Puzzle Globe FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY
The earth is dissected into seven horizontal slices parallel to the equator on the Geographic Educator. Six of the removable sections of this 6-inch terrestrial globe have inset puzzles of the continents comprised of numerous removable plastic jigsaw pieces in various colors, with place names shown in raised relief letters. Geographic entities colored in tones of green, yellow, pink, orange, purple, oceans colored pale green. Lindbergh's transatlantic route in 1927, and steamship routes indicated.
