Beautiful stock certificate from the Herkimer and Mohawk Street Railroad Company issued in 1895. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a trolly car being pulled by two horses. This item has the orignial signatures of the Company's President, and Secretary, and is over 117 years old. No written cancellation markings on face. The certificate was issued to and endorsed on the back by J. Ledlie Hess.
Certificate Vignette The Herkimer and Mohawk Street Railroad was organized early in 1871, with a capital stock of $20,000.
