Beautiful certificate from the Hi-Toms, Inc. This historic document was printed by the Goes Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the Company's name. This item has the hand written signatures of the Company's President, and Secretary, and is over 56 years old.
Certificate Vignette The name, HiToms, dates back to a baseball team that was shared by the High Point and Thomasville communities in the Carolina League (1954-1958, 1968). The team won the Carolina League championship in 1968. The following year they changed their name to the High Point-Thomasville Royals for one campaign. The HiToms are the first team in CPL history to win the league championship three years in a row ( 2006, 2007, 2008). The name Hi-Toms, Inc. came from combing the city names, High Point and Thomasville.
