Beautifully engraved Specimen from the Julius Kayser & Co. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company in the 1920's. Julius Kayser was the German partner in the twin firms of Julius Kayser & Co in London and Traben-Trarbach. Julius Kayser & Co survived the First World War, and prospered in the 1920s, but it failed into bankruptcy in 1931. It was rebuilt as M & H Seiflow , but it finally collapsed during the Second World War. However, the Traben company did survive. Julius Kayser and Company which was a company in the hosiery, gloves, and lingerie business, in addition to other types of businesses. The company changed its name to Kayser Roth Corp in 1958 and became Gulf and Western in 1986. The company became Paramount Communications in 1989 and Viacom in 1994.
