Beautifully engraved certificate from the New England Motive Power Company issued in 1884. This historic document was printed by Ward & Gay Stationers and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the New England Motive Power Company with horses driven carriages and a train in front. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, W. A. Stilis and Secretary, E. H. Messenger and is over 122 years old.
