Beautifully engraved certificate from the Northeast Bancorp, Inc. issued in 1970's-80's. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical woman sitting with a globe and a city skyline in the background. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President and Secretary and is over 20 years old.
Certificate Vignette Northeast Bancorp was reorganized from Union Trust in 1972. The company then merged into First Fidelity in 1993 and then merged into First Union Corporation in 1996.
