Beautifully engraved certificate from the People's Telephone and Telegraph Company issued in 1887. This historic document was printed by Maverick and Wissinger and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical woman with wings flying and holding lightning. This item is hand signed by the Company's President ( A. E. Packer ) and Secretary and is over 116 years old. The certificate is signed by Charles Parrish and endorsed by him on the verso.
