Beautifully engraved certificate from the Saunders Cotton Mills issued in 1872. This historic document was printed by the T. Groom Stationer, Boston and has an
ornate block border with a vignette of a woman farmer. This item has the signature of the Company’s President, Esak Saunders and is over 133 years old.
The company was located in Grafton, Massachusetts. South Grafton is also called Saundersville named after the Saunders Cotton Mills.
