Beautifully engraved certificate from the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company issued in 1947. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of two allegorical figures sitting next to a man in a suit on the phone with a city in the background. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President and Treasurer and is over 56 years old.
