Beautiful certificate from the State of New York War Bonus Bond (1.75%) printed in 1949. This historic document was printed by American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the New York State Seal. This item has been hand signed and is over 70 years old. 
Certificate Vignette These bonds were issued to finance the payment of bonuses to honorably discharged Soldiers, Sailors and Marines of the World War II, who were actual residents of the State of New York at the time of their enlistment.
