Beautifully engraved specimen certificate from the Thor Corporation printed in 1956. This historic document was printed by the Northern Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical woman holding a torch sitting in front of a factory. This item has the printed signatures of the company's president and secretary and is over 44 years old. The company's name was changed to Allied Paper Coproration in 1956. Allied Paper was acquired by SCM Corporation in 1967. SCM Corporation merged in hanson Trust in PLC in 1986.
