Beautiful certificate from the Vanderbilt Consolidated Mining Company issued in 1882. This historic document was printed on cranberry colored paper by the Breuker & Kessler Company and has an ornate border around it with the the top vignette showing minings working on the surface, vignette on the left showing a cross-section of an underground operation showing miners on the surface hoisting buckets of ore up from miners at two different levels below surface. At right is a vignette of the state seal of Colorado. This item has the original signatures of the Company's Vice President, and Secretary, and is over 130 years old.
