Beautifully engraved certificate from the City of Montreal Three percent Permanent Debenture Stock issued no later than 1941. This historic document was printed by the British American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with vignettes of an allegorical woman and an old harbor scene. This item is hand signed by the city's director of finance department and is over 80 years old.
