Beautifully engraved certificate from the Merchants Distilling Corporation issued in 1936. This item is hand signed by the Company's President and Assistant Secretary and is over 66 years old. The company made Merchant's Whiskey among other products. It is interesting to note that the opening of the Merchants Distilling Corporation in Terre Haute coincided with the 21st Amendment of the Constitution which repealed Prohibition.
