Stock certificate from the American and European Crystalized Egg Company issued in 1874. This item has been hand signed by the Company's President, C.A. LaMont, and Secretary, and is over 142 years old. The company engaged in manufacturing from eggs a food product called crystallized eggs, which when manufactured and ready for the market, was put up in ordinary flour barrels, and encased in oil paper to protect it from the dust.
