Beautiful certificate from the Calumet-Corbin Mining Company issued in 1911. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of Lady Liberty. This item is hand signed by the Company's President and Secretary and is over 95 years old.
Certificate Vignette The Calumet-Corbin Mining Co. owned the Gold Seal and Gold Pan claims. Free gold occurs in a vein of gray quartz in porphyry and schist. Ore samples were said to assay from $600 to $4880 per ton. The company had property in Montana, Idaho and Colorado. The company was incorporated in the Territory of Arizona and had their corporate office in Laurium, Michigan.
