Beautifully engraved certificate from the Compton Water & Lighting Company issued in 1922. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle with a shield. This item is hand signed by the Company's Vice President ( J. Shepard ) and Secretary ( J. Lee Shepard ) and is over 80 years old. This was an early Los Angeles Water and Power Company.
