Beautiful certificate from the Contention Gold Mines Company. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignettes of miners working underground, and smaller vignette of heads of three wild horses on bottom. This item has the hand signatures of the Company's President, Sidney Stone and Secretary, Landsford Butler and is over 105 years old.
