ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle. This item is hand signed by the Company's President and Treasurer and is over 85 years old.

The Gloucester Ferry Company was incorporated by the legislature of New Jersey to establish a steam-boat ferry from the town of Gloucester, New Jersey to the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The company was in the business of ferrying passengers and freight across the Delaware river.
