Beautiful certificate from the Grand Russian Railway issued in 1859. This historic document was printed by H.Catenacci and has an ornate border around it with a vignettes of views of Moscow and St.Petersburg, the two cities to be linked by the line, and of trains, forests, factories, etc. In the centre is the famous equestrian statue of Peter the Great. This item has the signatures of the Company's Officers and is over 158 years old. Printed in Russian on the face, with English and French on the back.
