Letter returned unclaimed from former mine office, Bingham Canyon, Salt Lake Co., Utah. R. E. Goodcll, president; Col. Thos. B. Crawford, manager. Property is supposed to include copper claims at Granite Gap, N. M., one claim in Goldfield, Nevada, and 4 claims in the Bullfrog district of Nevada. Company also owns 350,000 shares of Rio Dolores Copper Co. Principal property is 10 claims, 3 patented, area 135 acres, known as the Mystic Shrine group, in Markham Gulch, Bingham Canyon, Salt Lake Co., Utah. The Mystic Shrino is said to show chalcopyrite and galena, in veins from a few inches to 20' in width, giving assays of 6.5% copper, 18.8% lead, 10 oz. silver and $2 gold per ton. The mine has 4 shafts, deepest 200', and 8 tunnels, longest 700', with about 3,500' of workings. Equipment is said to include an air-compressor. The mines shipped a little low grade ore, 1908, to the Ogden smelter, shortly before that plant closed down. Idle.
