Beautifully engraved RARE certificate from the Indianapolis & Vincennes Railroad issued in 1867. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the state seal top right. This item has been handsigned by the Company’s President ( Ambrose E. Burnside ) and Asst. Secretary. There are very few known examples of these certificates (with the state seal) signed by Ambrose E. Burnside.
