ornate border around it with an IRS Revenue Stamp below the company's name. The stamp is cancelled with circular handstamp with the company's name and date of February 23, 1865. This item has the hand signatures of the Company’s President ( C. H. Sanborn ) and Secretary ( Benjamin F. Bayley ). This is the first time we have seen a certificate from this company.
