Beautifully engraved SCARCE SPECIMEN certificate from the Langendorf United Bakeries. This historic document was printed by the Security Banknote Company in 1928 and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of vignette features Ceres (goddess of agriculture) holding a stalk of grain, with a cornucopia at her feet and a farm in the background. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President ( S. S. Langendorf ) and its Secretary.
Certificate Vignette Langendorf was founded in 1930 and was well-known name on the West Coast. Barbara Ann Bakeries was owned by Langendorf. In 1980, Gai acquired the Langendorf Baking Company.
