Beautifully engraved certificate from the Merchants Union Telegraph Machine Company issued in 1882. This historic document was printed by Lucien Sanderson & Co. and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a lady sitting on a eagle while holding a lighting bolt and telegraph lines across the top and poles along the sides. This item is hand signed by the Company's President and Treasurer and is over 122 years old.
