Beautifully engraved certificate from the Morris and Essex Rail Road Company issued in 1923-47. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a train. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President and Treasurer and is over 55 years old.
Certificate Vignette The company had 119 miles of track from Hoboken, New Jersey to Phillipsburg New Jersey It started business in 1866 and was subsequently leased to the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Company.
