Beautifully engraved RARE SPECIMEN certificate from the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a woman with cherubs on her side holding old telephone handsets and is wearing a crown of lightbulbs. This is the first time we have had this certificate for sale and is the earliest Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company certificate we have seen.
