Beautifully engraved certificate from the Plymouth National Bank issued in 1865. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle. This item has the signatures of the Company’s President, William Thomas Davis and Secretary, Isaac N. Stoddard.

The Plymouth National Bank (No. 779) was organized at Plymouth, Plymouth County, in December 1864, with a capital of $150,000, limited to $600,000. President, William T. Davis; Cashier, Isaac N. Stoddard; both of the late Plymouth Bank.
