Beautifully engraved certificate from the Plymouth National Bank  issued in 1865. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an  ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, William Thomas Davis and Secretary, Isaac N. Stoddard.    
 
Certificate Vignette   As reported in 1865:  The Plymouth National Bank (No. 779) was organized at Plymouth, Plymouth County, in December 1864, with a capital of $150,000, limited to $600,000.
