Beautifully engraved Gold Bond Certificate from the Ruby Copper Company issued in 1912. This historic document has an  ornate border around it with the company's name on top.  This item has the signatures of the Company's President, H.A. Sutermeister  and Secretary, C. E. Sweet and is over 94 years old.            
 
Certificate Vignette     Owned the Lee Group of 9 claims in Santa Cruz County, located 10 miles north of Patagonia. Minerals are chalcopyrite and copper glance, producing copper and silver. The mine has a 400' shaft. The term ruby copper probably refers to cuprite. (Mines Hndbk, 1914, p.772)
