Beautifully engraved Check Certificate from the State of Pennsylvania issued from 1858 to 1866. This historic document was printed by the Danforth Wright Company of Philadelphia Company and has an ornate border around it with a 3 vignettes which include a teacher and student, lady liberty, an Indian family and a woman sitting with children with a book and globe.
Certificate Vignette This item is hand signed by the Superintendent of Common Schools and is over 148 years old.
