This item has is hand signed by the Company's President, J.P. Chasseaud and is over 101 years old. May 5, 1907, Sunday New York Times J.B. Chaseaud, who is to be a Vice President of the new Brunswick National Bank now organizing, has written to THE TIMES announcing that he has severed "his entire connection with the Sterling Debenture Corporation." The reason given by Mr. Chasseaud is that he has been elected Director of the Home Trust Company and that he will devote himself exclusively to his other financial interests.

Post Office Inspectors raided the offices of the Sterling Debenture Corporation, 133 East Sixteenth Street, yesterday afternoon, and arrested there on an indictment found by the Federal Grand Jury for using the mails to defraud Frank W. Shumaker, Samuel E. Finle Henry H.H. Platt, and Elwyn A. Barron. Simultaneously, under the same indictment, Sidney Rosenbaum was arrested at 22 William Street in the offices he shares with Edward Lautertach and Wilbur M. Stone was taken at his office at 13 Park Row. They were all held for $10,000 bail. except Stone, who was released in $5,000 bail.
