The Wheel and cycling trade review, Volume 10 - 1892 STRAIGHTENING SWEETINGS AFFAIRS. The Sweeting matter is being straightened out by degrees. The old Sweeting Cycle Company has passed oat of existence and a new concern organized to carry on the business. It will be known as the Phoenix Bicycle Company, Limited. The president of the new company is Mr. C. F. Smith, of the Indiana Bicycle Company, and the secretary Mr. E. H. Wilcox, of the Stover Company. The present stock will be disposed of at Sheriff's sale, after which a wholesale business only will be carried on. T. Henry Sweeting will act as manager of the new concern. The Sale of the stock of the late firm of Sweeting Cycle Company, held Wednesday afternoon, was well attended and the bidding was active, although prices were low as a general thing. The average price brought was for solid tired wheels $3$ to $45. Pneumatics brought from $80 to $05. The business of the firm will, as stated, be continued at the old stand by the recentlv formed Phoenix Cycle Company, Limited, who will push the Phoenix wheel in this market.
