Beautifully engraved SPECIMEN certificate from the Yes Clothing Company. This historic document was printed by Thomas de la Rue and has an ornate border around it. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's Officers. Yes Clothing Company, Inc, was the maker of Yes jeans. The Company has been out of the apparel business for several years now, curtailing operations in July 1997 due to lack of trade credit and working capital. In December 1977, Yes filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Act and abandoned the clothing industry. At the end of September 2001, the Company had no assets and there had been no revenues since 1998. On November 16, 2001, Yes announced plans to change the Company's name to BioSecure Corp. and to enter an entirely new business. Henceforth, the Company intended to "identify and develop, license, purchase and market bio-technical and other personal protection products." The Company noted that it was entering this new field "at a time when the world is on heightened alert and there is an obvious need for personal protection products." On November 28th Yes issued a press release announcing that it had taken the first step toward establishing its new business by entering into an agreement to acquire a private company called BioSecure Corp. in exchange for 2 million shares of Yes stock. According to that press release "BioProtect owns the rights to and currently assembles and markets a bio-protection kit sold under the name 'First Defense Anthrax Personal Protection Kit.'"
