This documment says.....I have protested and by these Presents do solemny protest against the maker of said note and all others concerned therein, for exchange and all costs, charges, damages, and interest, suffered and sustained, or to be suffered and sustained, by reason or in consequence of the non payment of said note.... There is also a great powder horn watermark in the paper.
