Beautifully engraved certificate from the IMCO Participating Company Limited (International Match Corporation) issued in 1936. This historic document was printed by Bradbury and has an ornate border around it with the company's name on top center. This item is hand signed by the Company's officers (Arthur Davis Foster) and is over 76 years old. THE LONDON GAZETTE, 7 OCTOBER, 1938 IMCO PARTICIPATING COMPANY Limited. (In Voluntary Liquidation.) The Companies Act, 1929. AT an Extraordinary General Meeting of Imco Participating Company Limited duly convened and held on the 3rd October 1938 the following Resolution was duly passed: -- Resolution. " That in view of the fact that all the obligations arising out of the offer made to the holders of Participating Preference Stock of International Match Corporation under Prospectus dated 8th July, 1936, have now been completed, the Company be wound up in accordance with Article 13 (d) of the Company's Articles of Association, and that Mr. Arthur Davis Foster of River Plate House, 10-11, Finsbury Circus, London, E.C.2, be appointed the Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."
