Beautifully engraved certificate from the United Reproduces Corporation issued in 1929. This historic document was printed by Columbian Bank Note Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical woman. This item has the signatures of the Company's Presiden, J. B. Hawley and Secretary, E. H. Smalley and is over 77 years old.

UNITED REPRODUCERS CORP.: Formed in May, 1929, as a merger of United Reproducers Corp., Buckeye Incubator Co., and Precision Products Co.. United Reproducers Corp. was incorporated in New Jersey, August 25, 1928, and acquired the entire business and assets of Newcomb-Hawley, Inc., organized in 1924 and the United Radio Corp., organized in 1922. Buckeye Incubator Co. was incorporated in Ohio Nov. 2, 1909. In Mar., 1926, acquired plant and holdings of Newtown Grant Incubator Corp. Under plan of merger holders of Buckeye preferred received 31/2 shares of class A stock of United Reproducers for each share held. Holders of Buckeye common received two shares of United Reproducers for each share held. Manufactures and distributes incubators, brooders, radio cabinets, radio reproducers, public address and announcing systems, and phonograph tone chambers and reproducers. Products are sold to manufacturers of radio sets and phonographs, and to jobbers of radio equipment. Plants located at St. Charles and Geneva, Ill., Rochester, N. Y., Ann Arbor, Mich., and Springfield, 0. Experimental laboratories at Geneva, Ill., and White Plains, N. Y. Branches at Herblay, France; London, England and Berlin, Germany; also distributors in about 35 foreign countries. National Brooder Co., Springfield, 0., is a subsidiary. Number of employees, 1,000.
