Beautifully engraved certificate from Alsco, Inc. issued in 1963. This historic document was printed by the Security-Columbian Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with the Company's logo of a bold line wrapped around a polygon and shooting up to make an arrow. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President, David W. Walli, and Secretary, F.F. Hernon; and is over 49 years old. Operating from some 120 sites in 10 countries worldwide, the company (whose name stands for American linen supply company) rents and sells uniforms, linens, towels, and clean room garments to more than 140,000 customers in North America. It also manages janitorial services, provides washroom supplies, and launders and sterilizes garments. Alsco serves the automotive, food processing, restaurant, medical, and IT industries, as well as the federal government. Founded in 1889 by George Steiner, the company is owned and operated by the Steiner family.
