Certificate Vignette
The Boston Fish Market had more than a half-million square feet. It was made entirely of cement, brick and glazed tile and could berth 40 vessels, while simultaneously unloading them and 40 more besides.
The Fish Pier is still located on the northwest side of the South Boston Seaport about a mile and a quarter from the State House.
