This item has the signatures of Harold DeLong (3 times) and George Wilson, is over 84 years old. The certificate was issued to Harold DeLong and was endorsed by him and George Wilson on the back.

In 1933, the Delong Gum Co. issued a set of 24 multi-colored cards was one of the first baseball card sets issued with chewing gum. It was the only card set issued by this company. The reverse text was written by Austen Lake, who also wrote the sports tips found on the Diamond Stars series which began in 1934, leading to speculation that Delong was bought out by National Chicle. Harold DeLong had hopes and dreams of making a name for himself by creating baseball cards in the 1930s. DeLong Gum was named after Harold C. DeLong, a former Goudey employee who left to start his own competing gum card company. The 24-card collection had 15 Hall of Famers with of Yankees Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig and Jimmie Foxx.
